The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) provides 24-hour-no-fault personal injury cover for all New Zealanders and visitors to New Zealand. If you are injured in New Zealand, even visiting from overseas, ACC can help with treatment and other support.
You do not require a doctor’s referral to apply for ACC, we can help you fill out the ACC claim form and send it directly to ACC on your behalf. This can happen at the time of your appointment at Capital Sports Medicine.
Everyone in New Zealand is eligible for comprehensive injury cover:
- no matter what you’re doing or where you are when you’re injured – driving, playing sport, at home, at work
- no matter how the injury happened, even if you did something to yourself to contribute to your injury
- no matter what age you are or whether you’re working – you might be retired, a child, on a benefit or studying.
